ORR Method

Do we have to wait till the pain comes? The only answer would be, prevention is better than cure.

We’ve created the ORR Method to make people listen to their own bodies, feelings, achieving firstly a correct body posture learning afterwards how to move and use correctly their bodies. Is the work tool of the Perfect Posture Institute. Its motto: “Everybody has the right to get to know himself in order to use correctly his own body”

What is a perfect posture? It is the body posture that cannot be better or the one which can only get worse. We know better than anybody else how we feel. That’s why we have to decide (by ourselves) our own perfect posture. The easier the method is, the better. Let’s explain the concept of the ORR Method with an image because as we know, an image is worth a ten thousand words. That’s why we are going to understand easily the concept of the method with this image, the ORR House.

This method, considers the body complex as an unity with its limbs and our body. The legs form the basis, the foundation; and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd floor together with the roof constitute the house. The 1st floor constitutes the lumbar column, the 2nd floor the dorsal column, the 3rd floor the cervical column and the roof our head As you can see, the legs, forming the basis, the stronger the more stable, and the more stable the better for the house. And the house, the stronger the more stable, and the more stable the better for the legs. With this example of house we can see the importance of considering the body complex as a unity. We build the house starting from the bottom to the top, making you understand if something on the first floor gets wrong, the 3rd floor won’t be good as well.

The ORR Perfect Posture comes from the combination of two other postures. The ORR Primary Posture and the ORR Secondary Posture. With the ORR Primary Posture we are going to be able to stabilize our vertebral column working as a natural corset, defining at the same time our own body axis. This body axis we have to maintain our whole life.

With the ORR Secondary Posture we are going to be able to stabilize our shoulder blades through an equilibrated and coordinated contraction of all our muscles. This one we will have to maintain while carrying out an effort. The ORR Method works through a perfect biofeedback needing a really good computer which represents our brain, a mirror that through the eyes will inform us directly if something’s going wrong and a perfect pc program – the ORR Method.

Never forget that the Perfect Posture’s Method is an idea of the perfect posture which we will have to achieve by ourselves because we know better than anybody else how we feel.
